Meet Our Professionals
Misa Dickinson D.V.M.
Dr. Dickinson has lived in Arizona for over 30 years. She went to the University of Arizona for her pre-vet undergraduate program and received a BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and a BS in Equine Sciences. She then graduated as a D.V.M. from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at the Durango Equine Veterinary Clinic in Buckeye, AZ with Dr. Lloyd Kloppe, the only certified theriogenologist in AZ. While there, she did routine equine clinic work, equine emergencies, breeding and foaling. She enjoys riding, and did eventing and dressage equitation in Glendale, AZ. She has also done some cutting, sorting and mounted shooting. She presently has many horses, one mule, one yearling and two new babies born this spring.
Karen
Since moving from Ohio to Chino Valley, her husband, Roger and she have enjoyed the blue skies and gorgeous sunsets. Karen has worked at a local animal hospital as a receptionist for 6 1/2 years, and has been a receptionist at Los Caballos for 11 years--she is currently there every Wednesday and Friday. Also on her agenda is horse and dog sitting for a few close friends while they vacation. Trail riding with friends on State Land and Deep Well Ranch are an added bonus to her life in Arizona and she has a horse.
Sherry
Sherry has worked as a nurse for over 34 years. In the last 16 years, she has been a nurse educator and faculty at Glendale Community College in Glendale AZ. She has lived in Arizona for 31 years with occasional detours to California and Pennsylvania. She lived in Glendale, AZ for 20 years, and has been in Prescott for the last 10 years. She has had horses and worked with them for over 25 years and enjoys dressage and pleasure riding best. She will be working in the office mostly, but you may see her helping Dr. Dickinson in the clinic and field occasionally. She has one pony that she rides and shares with her two grandchildren.
Debbie
Debbie has lived in Prescott for 19 years working as a Registered Nurse. Her real passion is riding dressage and competing in State and Recognized shows. She is looking forward to learning another facet of horse care.
